Hemicycle Sequencing takes its name and inspiration from the horseshoe shaped legislative chambers that are designed to encourage conversation and consensus versus confrontation. It’s a sequencing strategy designed to encourage curiosity and conscious embodiment that easily accommodates students with a wide range of abilities, bringing everyone into the conversation. This hour-long course will explain the main sequencing guidelines of this approach and how it can be combined to augment and compliment other sequencing strategies so students can progress at their own pace while feeling encouraged by methodical momentum.
